This is exactly why I subscribe to you, Ben. Reading this made me tear up a bit. Thank you for asking Dasha these questions, and I so appreciate her answering them with such honesty! I can't wait to watch her play here in DC.

Ben, great article. are we going to get a dumping of your WImby notebook? those are some of my favorites .

I am behind on these, missed RG too (staying in Europe in between broke up my normal rhythm of doing them once I’m home). Might do a summer notebook wrap post-Washington?

That would be great thanks Ben

Ben, this is my absolute favorite interview you’ve ever done. To learn so much about Dasha is incredible and she was able to give so much info because of how comfortable she felt and your superb interview style. I was smiling the whole time I read this!

Wonderful piece! I am a longtime fan of Kasatkina and enjoyed getting some insights about her that are not available in the broader tennis media.

So happy for Daria! I witnessed her sign every single autograph and selfie request during fan week at the US Open. I even got to say hi to her here in DC!

The part about throwing the bouquet — and then ultimately deciding to not do it — “I think that it’s stupid” 😂 — people shouldn’t compete for happiness. Love that!

This is awesome Ben. I cackled at Natasha writing smut. Love that for her

Great interview! I'm a big skating fan, and I remember Zabiiako and Enberg competing. I'm so happy for her and Dasha that they are able to be together and live freely outside Russia.
