The WTA Player Awards ballot arrived in my inbox yesterday, and I thought Bounces would be an ideal space to show my work on how I voted this year (and a good chance to write about the women since my last stretch of posts have skewed more toward the ATP side since I haven’t yet been able to finish a sprawling piece about the WTA’s first foray into Riyadh).

Some of the choices on this ballot felt obvious; others required a considerable amount of digging through statistics and results. Let’s get into them!
