Bounce Back: Your Thoughts Are Appreciated!
As Bounces turns 1½ years old, your feedback can help keep it growing in the right directions!
As I work on a few longer stories, I wanted to pop in to commemorate a minor milestone for this place—which is now roughly toddler age—and give one programming note.
Bounces launched on October 1, 2024, making today, April 1, 2026, its 18-month anniversary!
It already feels like I’ve had Bounces a lot longer than that, honestly, since it’s been such a pleasantly preoccupying part of my life for this year-and-a-half, and I feel like I’ve already done a ton of things here.
I want to keep Bounces going and growing for many years (and half-years) to come, and so today I’m putting the ball in your court with a Google Forms survey about your thoughts and opinions on Bounces and your consumption of tennis media. Any and all feedback, positive and negative, is appreciated!
You can fill out the survey here.
Additionally and alternately, if you’d rather just leave feedback in the comment section here, please feel free to do so (and to bounce off each other in there). While comments at Bounces are usually only open to paying subscribers, the comments section on this post will be open to all.
You can also, if you prefer, just send me a message directly through the Substack messaging system, or via email.
Thank you for your time and for your support of Bounces over these 18 months! And thank you for helping spread the word about this corner of the tennis space to all your family, friends, and social networks! Word of mouth is a huge, huge part of what can help Bounces growing and going along.
Also, I am looking forward to seeing many of you soon: After falling a bit out of rhythm with it to start this year (apologies), the next Bounces Zoom chat for Double Bounce/Founding-level subscribers will be Saturday April 4th, at 2 pm ET (that’s 11 am in Fresno, noon in Colorado Springs, 1 pm in Winnipeg, 7 pm in Glasgow, 8 pm in Biarritz, etc.)
I will send out a chat thread with the Zoom info to those subscribers, where those subscribers can also name some topics they might be interested in discussing.
Thanks for reading Bounces and thanks for filling out the survey! -Ben
